3D piece

Looking for 60 light bulbs to make a 3d piece..I have five :/

What I have been up to

Ive made a series of ceramic pieces that i will show you in the next few days,They have to be glazed first. One piece is to do with waves of the ocean and the others are little pinch pots designed for a bubble effect.

Created a number of laytext droplets and diped colour into them..They did not turn out the way i had planned.

Craig ward is a typography artist and i tought that it would be cool to try however i realised i should have put it on watercolour paper.

Prints to create a bubble effect with the bottom of a coke can.
Little water colour paintings to getthe shape of the ink as it soaks to the bottom of the bowl.

I have been doing mono pronts of the last few days.I wanted to create the ink driping into the water by use of white spirits and multi colours.

These are rubbings on news prnt which also gave a really cool effect.

I wanted to create a rainbow on bubble wrap so i could make it into bubbles based on the design below.I then driped water down the rainbow onto paper which created a really interesting design on the paper.

Then i made the bubble design.

CCS notebook

I was experimenting with print last week so i looked up a few artists
The first one is Ray Sheehan who uses potatoe prints to create his area around him.
Marilyn Kyle uses a simple print of her night garment.it is really interesting and it gives a sense of her space.
Toni Martina uses the space around her to create her art.

This is Mark Grotjahns piece. he creates debt in an abstract way.
Tara Donovan was commissioned to do this piece in 2010.its really amazing and connects with my theme at the moment.

CCS notebook

Julia Mehrelw,She uses ink acrylic on canvas. There is a sense of depth and space even though it's abstract.
Tara Donovan, Makes 3D pieces out of styrofoam cups or steel cups.Connects with my project on water and bubbles made of water.

Anish Kapour stainless steel bubbles.Really interesting and gave me great idea for a 3D piece for my bubbles.
This is another one of his pieces.I believe it is a symbol of war and violence but i like it because the build up of all the paint dripping down the wall.
Karla Black's pieces remind me of my water theme.they are very interesting and she makes her pieces smell like bath salts.
This is Wolf Gang Laib,This piece is exceptional as he collected pollen from flowers and then placed it on a lilac floor so that the pollen would stand out and illuminate.
